'Introduction to the Alexander Technique' courses can be a good way to get started with the Technique. They consist of weekly small-group classes and a one-to-one lesson for each participant.
Courses run regularly in
CENTRAL BRISTOL - see the Bristol City Yoga website (contact Bethan or BCY to be added to the waiting list),
ST WERBURGHS and CLIFTON - contact me for more details, or to find out about lessons / courses in other areas.
There are also ongoing short courses for people with some experience of the Alexander Technique. For more information about any of these, or to register your interest, contact Bethan. To receive newsletters with information about courses and other AT events, you can sign up below.
Bespoke talks and workshops are available, giving an introduction to the Alexander Technique and how we can all benefit from using it - great in the workplace! Please contact Bethan for further information.
This integrated approach combines Alexander Technique lessons with massage and bodywork to help you gain long-term relief from pain as well as feeling better in the short term. The collaboration with Jenny Dalhuijsen (massage therapist) arose from the desire to make a difference to the many people who 'put up with' ongoing back pain, but applies equally to others with neck pain, knee pain and so on. Unique to Bristol!
You can read this for more details. The package is individually tailored, so feel free to get in contact with any queries. You can find out more about Jenny and her practice on her website (see the Links page).
